Lufthansa Technik Tulsa provides an efficient and durable repair for these structural faults. Localized or complete replacement of perforated skin, core replacement, hot bond repairs and hinge and bearing repair and replacement are the means of choice. The facilities available on 100,000 square feet (9,300 square meters) floor space comprise, among others, a clean line for metal surface treatment, a clean room, two autoclaves, dedicated paint and prime booths, a weld shop and NDT (non-destructive testing) facilities including FPI (fluorescent penetrant inspection) and MPI (magnetic particle inspection). And to ensure the quality of the repair, an in-house lab with comprehensive bond strength testing and verification capabilities is at hand.
