New and efficient repair methods
Using state-of-the-art technology, repairs are developed. For example, applying methods supported by an integrated CAD/CAM system, complex tooling is designed for bonding processes. This enables ARC® to not only perform small localized repairs, but complete repairs requiring sometimes full core and skin replacement.
Exceeding industry practices
To safeguard quality, Lufthansa Technik ARC® often exceeds industry practices. For example, process control coupon testing is performed as well as non-destructive ultrasonic testing, further instruments ensuring quality and durability of the repaired structure. A pre-delivery functional test including electronic testing reduces the need for adjustments after installation and shortens aircraft ground time.
